The Irish Power Hour is a tremendous program that is unique in it's approach to some of the most interesting music out there - Irish music. This music has a high level of appeal not only to the residents of Syracuse but to a truly global audience that tuned in weekly to listen. This excellent program produced by Sean and Cabrina is first and foremost appealing and fun to listen to. I tune in from New York City on a regular basis and I often wish we had such fine Irish oriented programming here in NYC.
I was truly saddened to learn that it lost it's spot on the radio, but I am hopeful that such a quality program will soon return to the airwaves where it rightfully belongs.

We have performed and toured all over the World for more than 22 years now and have many great fans in the USA and if they are now to be starved of great Celtic music through the loss of your superb, first class show, then it is a total travesty that the new company who bought over the #1 rock station in Central NY has not renewed the contract........and they should be totally ashamed by this outcome!!!!
Their actions will deprive so many people of their weekly 'celtic music fix' and will make their lives less fulfilled as a result.

just discovered you guys via the Celtic workshop that we hope to attend tomorrow--i always listen to Larry Kirwan on Celtic Crush but at least now i can download the podcast etc--i posted your podcast link on friends of Celtic Cush on facebook so hopefully you will get some downloads! It's the only way we get decent Celtic rock in California. We found your show after a trip to Syracuse this last summer and have enjoyed it ever since. I'll just have to keep as many podcasts as I can get.
I am writing because I am saddened to hear that 95X will no longer be carrying your show on Sunday nights. My wife and I love hearing all sorts of new Irish rock music, but mostly we love to hear what the hosts, Cabrina & Sean have to say. Both hosts are extremely entertaining and it is truly refreshing talk radio with some upbeat Irish music to really end our week off. The IPH also does so much for the local community with fundraising, promoting local businesses, creating fun events, and bringing great Celtic rock groups to the area.
We will really miss you and hope that another station picks up your show so our 2012 Sunday nights will still have our rockin' hour with laughs and smiles included.
Still in the desert until next September. Was finally able download and start catching up on the podcasts. I saw from the Dec 18th podcast that you are losing your time slot at 95X. I truly hope you guys find a new home...or that 95X figures out that you guys are a nice respite from the canned radio that seems to permeate the airways. Good luck in your search for a new “home”. I feel cheated. I saw your big sign at the Irish Festival this summer and only started listening then. My Sunday nights will be too quiet. I’m the guy who would listen from my car in driveway because over here in Seneca Falls I couldn’t pick up the station. I won tickets to the Street Dogs show and took my son it was awesome. Murder the Stout was incredible. My son loved the Elders this summer and was psyched to hear they were coming in January. We’ll see you there. Good luck.

Let me guess we need another hour of GaGa...Maybe if they boost the power out of Syracuse a pinch so it reaches up here by Harrisville/H20town, they would see the fan base sky rocket. Oh and Irish Music show on Sunday night really? We're drinking on Fridays and Saturdays and recuperating on Sundays...Anyway as a relatively new listener, I think you guys are awesome. I can't say that I'm a long time listener, just found the show this past July, wish I had found it sooner, great show, unique music not heard on any other station, my only complaint, why only an hour? Now the boot? Not cool, now there's nothing good to listen to on Sunday nights, guess the radio will get thrown out for an ipod.
The problem is where are we going to be able to hear any of this kind of music? I have a 9 month old that just loves this music when ever I play any of it he starts bouncing and dancing to it.I can't wait till the Sterling Celtic Fest so he can see it live.I don't listen to the radioall that much it's mostly just background noise but on sundays I get out of work at 9 and happened to find your show one night and I am REALY going to miss it on my ride home.
